Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
